Federal prosecutors in the United States have slammed rapper Pooh Shiesty and eight others with serious charges tied to a shocking alleged armed robbery and kidnapping plot in Dallas, Texas.
According to the indictment, the group is accused of orchestrating a violent gunpoint robbery targeting three men after a heated business dispute linked to Gucci Mane’s label, 1017 Records. Authorities claim the victims—reportedly connected to the label—were ambushed despite arriving in Dallas for legitimate business dealings.
Prosecutors allege the situation escalated into a terrifying act of violence, with firearms used to intimidate and rob the victims.
U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould issued a strong warning: those who turn to violence and intimidation in business disputes will face swift and decisive justice, stressing that law enforcement across North Texas is fully mobilized to crack down on such crimes.
The case is intensifying concerns over rising violent crime linked to business conflicts. Notably, Pooh Shiesty was reportedly on home confinement for a previous conviction when the alleged incident took place—adding another layer of controversy to the high-profile case.
Investigations are still unfolding as prosecutors push forward to hold all accused individuals accountable.
